Sometimes you test products that you are really looking forward to test. I have kids who love jumping with ropes, but if you stand in the middle and then lead the rope around and around you get very dissy and tired. So, as I noticed the Rope Skipping Machine at Temu (and elsewhere), I thought it would be a perfect gift to my kids, and to me. Not only because I can stand and watch instead of circulating the rope all the time, but also because I can use it for exercising.
This is the machine I received from Temu. It is very easy to use and install, and you can decide whether you want to use it with one or with two arms. It is easier with one arm, but sometimes, it is easier to find a rhythm if you use both. That is entirely up to the user to find out which solution is the best for them.
The machine comes with a controller with which you can control the speed of the machine, and also start and stop it. It is rechargeable by USB which is very practical, because you do not have to change batteries all the time. It is also a quick job to recharge the machine, so it gets recharged within 60 minutes approximately from 0% to 100%. While charging you can follow the progress as it shows clearly at the little screen within the machine.
The arms are approximately 80 cm at most, so this isn’t a gigantic tool, but if you want to jump alone or with one more person, it works. If you want to use it at a birthday party with lots of children, it will not work properly because there is no space for all of them around the machine simultaneously.
What is my judgment? Is the Rope Skipping Machine / Rope Circulator / Jumping machine a good thing?
Once again, you will find very similar products elsewhere and not only on Temu, and at the moment I am writing this, the product is actually removed from Temu (but I guess it will return again in the future). No matter what, here I will share my experience using this machine and tool!
It is very easy to use, so you do not need any sort of technical skills or knowledge to use it. You can attach one arm or both arm within a few seconds.
The controller I received is easy to use, or at least should be easy to use. For some reason, I have had a hard time making the remote and the machine work together, even though I have changed batteries several times. It might be a coincidence, but sometimes it operates very well, while other times I need to get really annoyed before they communicate properly.
The machine isn’t only made for rotating or circulating the ropes. It is also a Bluetooth loudspeaker, something that makes exercising even more fun as you can listen to music in the process. But, there is a slight problem… the loudspeaker doesn’t speak English (this isn’t really a problem), and the second problem is that it is a very lousy loudspeaker. My kids don’t care, but personally, I could just as well play the music directly from my cell phone which actually gives a nicer sound than the loudspeaker from the Rope Circulator. All in all, I don’t mind that it is there and we often use it, but if you want a good loudspeaker, go somewhere else!
For the sake of jumping, it is absolutely awesome. You just need to find the perfect speed that you like to use, and find out whether you want to attach one or both arms. Besides that, you can jump, burn calories, and have a lot of fun. If you like football and want to practice technical skills, you can even run it with one arm and at a slow speed to practice lifting the ball and other technical skills.
You can use the machine both inside and outside, which makes it ideal in yet another way.
Rope Skipping Machine review: What is the conclusion?
I find this tool to be quite awesome. It will help you or your kids move and jump, it is fun, it is easy to use, easy to recharge, and it can help you relax and have fun instead of holding the rope yourself.
It might not be worth hundreds of Euros, but as I bought it on Temu the price was approximately €35, and that wasn’t a bad price for an exercise tool that will help you exercise and burn calories for a long time.
